The Bat surveys her domain

A menacing red figure stood at the edge of Wayne Tower, featureless helmet trained on the city below as the wind blew its red cape out to one side. Sirens wailed somewhere below, and shouts and laughter came from all quarters, but Batwoman showed no alarm. These were the sounds of her city. This was the song of her home.

Down below in the city, a few streets away from where Batwoman stood, a strange portal opening. From it dropped a girl clad in a purple costume, she landed skillfully on her feet with a roll to avoid any damage. Taking a breath, she looked around, "where am I?"

Batwoman turned away again, tossing something to the costumed teen before shooting a grapple from her cuff and swinging away.
