She just bowed her head. Her legs, stomache, chest, and back were so severely bruised she could hardly feel anything.

Finally she managed to prop herself up with her good arm, and then got unsteadily to her feet.

"I need help," she whispered, obviously very unsteady, tears leaking down her face from the pain of it.
