Eva and Adao almost stumbled out of the portal, 
Eva nearly dropping Krypto.
"CAR!!!!" Adao said excited rushing up to it "Woah thats so cool" he murmered looking through the window. 
Eva squeeled with delight seeing the bats "PETS!"

Brenda stiffened, but awkwardly returned the embrace before stepping away. "Thank you."

And then a deep bark sent the bats to squeaking and made Krypto's tail wag till it blurred. A massive black Irish Wolfhound came loping out of some back way of the Cave and came to sit at his mistress's side, tail wagging in greeting for his friend and for these children who smelled like family.

Adao was up in the air with the bats "AHhhhhh DOG!"
Eva slapped her face "He's such a nerd"

"Not the word that I would use." Brenda smirked as she watched the excited bats fly around the boy.

"Dweeb?" she offered "Stinky breath? Butt head?"

"That's quite the vocabulary." She turned her head to look at the girl and quirked an eyebrow.

"You kindda look like a boring version of me......." she said, strangely that sounded like a high compliment.

Brenda smirked despite herself, though her heart was still raging against Laura Luthor and promising her ill. "I have my moments."

She smiled at her, "Can you knit?"
Adao groaned "BORING!"

"Not to save my life." She looked at the girl curiously.
