Eva and Adao almost stumbled out of the portal, 
Eva nearly dropping Krypto.
"CAR!!!!" Adao said excited rushing up to it "Woah thats so cool" he murmered looking through the window. 
Eva squeeled with delight seeing the bats "PETS!"

Brenda stopped and turned to look at them, her face once more looking cold as marble as she studied those eager young faces.

"What?" Eva asked
Adao paused from where he'd about to put a spider down Eva's top.

Adao got a Look that chilled him to his toes. "Put it outside."

Then she switched from the Batvoice to her normal one. "How about M...." She took a deep breath and forced the word out. "Mom."

Eva smimled "I like that it'll work"

Ace stood at his mistress's hand signal and growled at the boy. Krypto blinked, but then helped.

He pouted "ok ok" he sigh a wind later and it was gone "Ok?"

"Are you hungry?" She looked back and forth between them, remembering that this was often one of the first things that Alfred asked her when she came home.

"Um no thank you" Eva smiled
"Yes please" Adao grinned.

"Alright. I'll take you to the kitchen. But before we get there I want you to understand something. Alfred is my butler. He will call you Master Adao and Miss Eva. You are to let him do so, and you are to call him Alfred. Is that understood?"

"Isn't that rude?" Adao asked "Shouldn't he be sir? He's an adult..........."
Eva face palmed.

She actually smiled a little. "Sir is alright. Just don't carry it to excess. Alfred... is very dignified and likes his world to run in a certain way."
