So it was that Helena found herself on the doorstep of her "Aunt" Brenda's manor, dressed normally, rather than in costume. Technically, you might say she was here on business, but she would prefer to speak in the manor and not the cave.

She had a lot on her mind, big choices to make, and she wasn't really sure she was making the right one. Part of her said yes, part of her said no, and part of her really didn't know what to thing. Her teammates supported her, Dick... almost did, but what she really needed right now was her father's support, and since that was not an option, she needed to seek out an alternate. "Uncle" Bruce was always an option, of course, but Aunt Brenda also potentially seemed like the better one to ask.

So she knocks.

"Ah." A smile comes to her eyes.

"So... yeah. I mean, between Alan and the rest of the JSA, it's not like Gotham would be lacking for protectors. Since we don't want to be stepping on each other's toes, Syl's talking about Hollywood, maybe, or Star City. Some place on the west coast."

"How about space?"

"Well, that's part of what makes Hollywood attractive. Syl owns Stellar Studios. An HQ could be set up there pretty easily."

"You've thought this through." There's approval in her voice as she glances toward the refreshments on the desk and ponders getting up.

She nods. "Somebody's got to make sure the next generation of heroes has a chance. And part of me? I think I need to get out of Gotham. So long as I'm there, I feel like all I'm going to do is continue to define myself by dad's standard."

"I can understand that." Brenda nods, then points to the cookies and tea. "Would you do the honors? I really don't want to get up."

"Sure thing," she replies, as she gets up to do so. "Talked to Dick about it... Didn't go over so well. Kinda accused me of abandoning Gotham."

Brenda's expression tells what she thinks of Dick and his opinion.

"Yeah, I pretty much told him off about it. Hurts, though. Even with you and Uncle Bruce and some of the rest in the multiverse, Dick's some of the only family I have left. His approval means a lot to me."

"I'm sure Dawn would be glad to gently kick his rear for you." The offering of her stand in's services instead of her own comes automatically now. The winged woman is nearly an extension of herself.

Helena smiles as she returns with the tea and such. "I don't think that will be necessary."
