Looking for Prey
Thick leather boots gripped the edge of the rooftop as a young man peered over a rough end of the city. The east end, in particular. With the awful blackout that occurred not an hour ago, he was pretty busy. There had been no sign of Batwoman, and he was very glad of that. He was not...afraid, per se, just very wary when working the same time she was. He assumed she was very protective of her territory, which included the City, and he wasn't going to simply stand aside and let her be the only one cashing in on the fun.
Hunter grinned, there was a very poorly organized bank robbery that he had just foiled and the bumbling idiots had no idea who they were up against. He was new at this vigilante stuff, but after all he had been around criminals most of his life, unfortunately, and was too trained to be a fighter. Martial arts was something of a hobby in school, but he had persued it seriously once he had gotten older. He knew he would need it, with the kind of people hanging around at home. His theories were put to practice, of course, once he decided to don the costume.
Ah, looters. Will they never learn? He double-checked his crossbow and threw out one of his nifty new grappling guns, swinging to the chaos below.

She slid it open, and entered, then gestured Hunter to follow. It took a lot of trust on ehr part to welcome him into her alter-ego life like this.

Hunter totally understood what sacrifice she was making, trusting him with the location of her hotel and in fact who she was. He entered the window and dumped the heavy load onto the floor, creating a thump a little louder than he meant.
"Whoops. Hey, is the power back on yet here?"

Spoiler took a deep breath, "okay. Me first."
She took off the mask, letting her long blond hair fall out and down around her shoulders. "I... I am Stephanie Brown. And from what I can determine, I do not exist in this Gotham. I have no idea how I got here."

"Wow. Well...that's a pickle in itself." He took a deep breath. "I'm Bruce Bertinelli. I do happen to exist in this Gotham."

"All I know is that the Batwoman did not seem very happy to see me, basically told me to stay in civilian mode. So I could be on her bad side right now..."
no subject
"Oh, I wouldn't worry about it. I don't think I'm ever on her good side." He folded his arms across his chest. "But since we're all doin' the reveal your secret identity thing, let's start with the basics. How come you're in this buisness?" He was very curious to see if others' reasons were even close to his own.
