Alfred could be found in the parlor again finishing up his dusting. He always cleaned when he had a lot on his mind and one would not be surprised to find that Wayne Manor was sparkling.

A heavy sigh as he dusted the piano again for the third time.

He shakes his head. "Not with that outlook." he states. "You keep this up and the Devil has already won."

Her face creases with the battle she's fighting inside, then clenches as she breaks down and truly weeps for the first time since she was a little girl.

Alfred wraps both of his arms around her and holds close to him as she cries, making reasurring noises and rubbing her back in comfort.

The sobs seem to tear out of her, wrenching her frail body. But the hand she'd been moving comes up to lay on his arm, the fingers curving weakly and without strength, but curving nontheless.

A soft smile. "See there now." he says softly. "You are regaining your strenght, my dear."
