Can't run from me.....
She smiled, anticipating the moment.
The scientist was fleeing, but Katalyn was in front of him, not behind. He didn't see her because he was focused on the falling shadow of the Batman.
Sticking out her foot from the shadows she smiled, satisfied when he crashed to the alleyway with a yelp.
"You'd think a genius would have some sort of aircraft on his rooftop," she shook her head, muttering as she went to the fallen man as she coughed. "I mean please. Running from a Bat on foot is just stupid."
She reached down and grabbed his gun, trigged her left claw and sliced through it, then chucked it. "Hold still. The Bat's a second away," she laughed softly, golden eyes gleaming as she put a foot on the back of his neck. He made some muffled growl, but she only rolled her eyes, then looked up, grinning.
"Hey. There you are," she said. This was a good night. A very, good night.

"Come here," she said gently, scooping up the little girl, who started to cry into her shoulder. "What's wrong, dear?"
"Bruce is mean! And Clarks a $@%@ face," the girl sobbed. Leslie sighed.

He faced Clark with a sneer. "You think you're all that cause you have powers, flyboy? This is Gotham, it'll eat you alive with or without 'em. I could take you now and any day of the week, red tightie-whities." He was still very mad at that crack about him, even though it was quite on purpose. "And I'll show you what this sad loner kid can do."

She sighed and sat down, shushing Nightlife and waiting for the boys to work all out.

"This is my shot. Want me to call Lois?"

"How long have you known Bruce?" she asked softly.
"A little bit. He didn't like it much I knew who he was," she sighed.
Leslie blinked. "You knew?"
Katalyn grinned then.
"I always know."

He tossed the phone to Supes with a wicked smirk.

"Fine. Go. Go off and break other people's phones. I'd call you when we find the cure, but oh yeah? I can't." He stuck his tongue out at Superman and crossed his arms.

"Oh great. Now we're gonna have another super little being flying around the place," he said with a slight sigh. Then a snigger. "World's youngest dad, hee hee."
