Worried

Two days had already passed since Bruce had seen Katalyn, and it was safe to say that he was seriously worried. She should have at least contacted him, let him know she was okay, even if she wanted to be alone. So now he was at her home, not finding any sign of her presence for at least 48 hours. He crouched in the dark little home, pawing through her things, looking for anything, any clues that would give away even the slightest hint to where she could be.

Katalyn coughed and curled, but went completely still. She had to trust Bruce or she'd ruin any chance of escape.

The Joker, however, stepped over the girl, knowing she was why the Bat was here. Keep thehostage, keep the hero. He started grabbing blindly.

"Crap! Leggoo!" He immediately wished he hadn't spoken because he felt the Joker grab his arm in the smoke, and he almost dropped Katalyn who he was trying to grab and balance with his other arm.

Joker grinned and siezing him.

"Silly boy," he said, lifting him up. "Pah, I'll find out who you are for myself. Easy enough."

"You're not getting me! DON'T TOUCH ME! #%$^#%^!" His normally raspy voice shrieked with rage as he struggled against his worst enemy, who unfortunately was more than twice his size at the moment. He kicked at him hard with his boots, letting go of Katalyn and fumbling for his batarangs.

Joker siezed him again, kicking the girl hard and away, and focusing on the kid he had a hold of.

"You've bitten off a bit more than you can chew, eh," he grinned, slamming him against the wall.

In the corner Katalyn saw starts, bur tried desperatly to work off the ropes cutting into her wrists, something she hadn't been able to do before, but seemed even more impossible now. but she had to try.
