Worried

Two days had already passed since Bruce had seen Katalyn, and it was safe to say that he was seriously worried. She should have at least contacted him, let him know she was okay, even if she wanted to be alone. So now he was at her home, not finding any sign of her presence for at least 48 hours. He crouched in the dark little home, pawing through her things, looking for anything, any clues that would give away even the slightest hint to where she could be.

Dämmerung gave a jump for good measure, then punched him in the head a few times to see if that would knock him out. She didn't like doing it, but if she didn't render him inoperable he could hurt Batman or one of the others.

"Mommy, my head hurts," he said airily but wasn't knocked out. She'd honestly have to probably drop a building, an airplane, and maybe a few cars on top of his head for that to happen. But that didn't mean he wasn't dazed beyond all reason.

This wasn't working. She frowned, then snatched him up and bounded over the heads of the other combatants in the room, her wings snapping out as the two of them burst through the wall.
