The Bat surveys her domain

A menacing red figure stood at the edge of Wayne Tower, featureless helmet trained on the city below as the wind blew its red cape out to one side. Sirens wailed somewhere below, and shouts and laughter came from all quarters, but Batwoman showed no alarm. These were the sounds of her city. This was the song of her home.

Spoiler was used to that stare, and did not flinch, "I do not know how I got here." Her words were crisp and honest, "I just fell into the alleyway."

Behind the faceplate icey eyes squeezed shut at the beginning of a headache as Batwoman growled to herself. Then she reached out as fast as a striking snake and seized the girl by the arm, holding it in an iron grip as she pulled a device from her utility belt and took a cell sample.

"I'll have a way back for you in a few days. Until then you're a civilian. Understand?"

"Hey!" Spoiler rubbed her arm. She decided not to argue the point that she did not even have any place to live as a civilian, instead she just nooded. "Understood."
