The Scout - Checking out Gotham

Every time they were going some where new, they always drew straws. Everytime. Yet every time Eva lost. Why? Because she choose the shorter straw because he twin couldn't be trusted. 
She sighed looking around, wondering what she should do. Seeing a poster of superman she grinned. She walked over pulling out a permanent Black marker and scribbling on it. THe usual, horns, beard, evil mustache.......

"Your a horrid person, isn't a personal right to privacy? Do you have to like.... apply to move into gotham?"

She started to reply, but then suddenly whipped out a wing to deflect a bolt of green energy that shot toward the girl from a rooftop. Ears back, she leaped in pursuit of the shooter, only to double back and stop another shot coming in from another direction.

Someone wanted the girl dead, and they were using Kryptonite.

Eva yelped jumping and taking to the air, shooting up like a bullet.

Dämmerung saw another bolt streaking after the girl and knocked it out of the air with a blast of flame, then turned the fire toward the shooter, who yelped and bailed off the roof.

Ears back, she bounded over and grabbed the man, then turned with perked ears and sought the other shooter and any others there might be.

Eva hoovered high in the sky watching the situation below, she wasn't used to being shot at..

Dämmerung gently rendered the man under her arm unconscious, then dropped him him and leaped onto the roof that the first shot had come from. Intent on pursuing the woman there, she paid no attention to the person on another rooftop who was aiming a missile launcher at her.

Eva considered letting the annoying person get shot but considered it perhaps a little rude she dived down using herself like a canon ball just diving into the person with the missile launcher.

The man hurled himself aside, just barely avoiding the hit as he pulled out a smaller gun and let off another bolt of Kryptonite.

Eva yelped as it grazed her arm as she regained herself. She scowled at him shooting lazers at him from her eyes.

Strong hands grabbed her and pulled her aside, causing her to miss him.

"Don't kill!" said Dämmerung.

She scowled "He SHOT ME!" she said motioning to her arm.

"Ja, but if you kill him you'll be just like him." Massive wings beat the night air and lifted them higher as she pulled on a pair of night lenses and scanned the rooftops. "Ah hah."

She scowled touching the wound "But I'm LEAKING!"

"You'll live." She looked at the girl kindly, though her ears were back as she thought of the best way to end this fight and listened to Batwoman's advice over the com. "Can you fly?"

"yeah, I'm not norm" she grumbled touching the wound like it was going to kill her.

"You'll be alright." Dämmerung glanced at the wound as she let go of the girl, trusting that she knew to stay out of the way of her wings.

She moved away hand still poking at the wound. Pretty much only focusing on that.

A wing blocked another shot. "Pay attention, or you'll vind up vith vorse!"

She looked at the wing "oh yeah sure...... uh where should I go?"

Dämmerung scanned the area again. "Get out of range. Und stay avay from any flying craft; there could be an aerial backup."

She nodded "OK" a moment later she was up past the atmosphere.

Dämmerung turned her attention back to the snipers, and soon most of them were neatly laying trussed in a pile where the police could reach them.

Most of them.

"So, are ve going to do this the easy vay? Or the hard vay?" The winged woman asked the gasping man whom she held by one ankle as she hovered about fifty feet up in the air.
