Looking for Prey
Thick leather boots gripped the edge of the rooftop as a young man peered over a rough end of the city. The east end, in particular. With the awful blackout that occurred not an hour ago, he was pretty busy. There had been no sign of Batwoman, and he was very glad of that. He was not...afraid, per se, just very wary when working the same time she was. He assumed she was very protective of her territory, which included the City, and he wasn't going to simply stand aside and let her be the only one cashing in on the fun.
Hunter grinned, there was a very poorly organized bank robbery that he had just foiled and the bumbling idiots had no idea who they were up against. He was new at this vigilante stuff, but after all he had been around criminals most of his life, unfortunately, and was too trained to be a fighter. Martial arts was something of a hobby in school, but he had persued it seriously once he had gotten older. He knew he would need it, with the kind of people hanging around at home. His theories were put to practice, of course, once he decided to don the costume.
Ah, looters. Will they never learn? He double-checked his crossbow and threw out one of his nifty new grappling guns, swinging to the chaos below.

She looked at the group of mean-looking men, "You do not seem to understand, this whole city is our territory," (yes she was making them think her and the man were working together), "and we say that they can not just take what they want."
Spoiler looked over to Hunter, she could toss a smoke grenade and use her heat vision in her mask to fight them... but he did not seem as equiped. So instead, she flung out her bat-a-rang again, and it made a direct hit of the gun in the lead man's hand. Making him drop it.

He glanced over at the girl, seeing that she made it look like they were working together. It was a smart move, a team united came off as looking stronger. He inserted another bolt in the crossbow and aimed it the lead man's head, who had a murderous look on his face. Hunter absolutely hated gangs with a passion, they had ruined his life, to say the least.
"Get outta here, or you're dead." He meant it, too.

"Go on... scat!" She threw a flash grenade just in front of the group, scaring off a few of the more timid men.

"Hey, we don't wanna get arrested and these baby Bats will have their hands full with everyone else," yelped a skinny guy with a beanie into the leader's ear.
"Yeah, 'cept I'm not anythin' near a baby Bats, you know, it's not like we got team numbers on our backs," Hunter sneered. The flash grenade worked very well though because it warned off any straggling looters, and soon the department store was empty.
"Yer gonna get yours, ya losah," muttered the gang leader, who reluctantly backed off. "Just ya wait."
"I'm shakin' in my boots. In fact, tell all yer friends about me. I'm the Hunter." He shot the crossbow bolt straight at the man's head, but he flicked his wrist at the last second so it embedded itself into one of the metal columns near the door.

She listened to the sounds of the city, frowning at how the blackout has a several pronged effect, "so where to next, Hunter?"

"That's a lotta people down there. It looks almost like a...a riot already." There were several police cars down there already but one was being attacked by riotous looters.

"I am thinking perhaps a tear-gas grenade, or flash-grenades, or smoke-grenades. They work well again rioters."

He took out a lighter and lit the fuse, and fired it off into the crowd rather recklessly. It was actually a sort of jury-rigged firework tip and it whistled and sparked wildly.

"Gotta get another of these babies to do their work," he lights up another firework bolt and shoots it into the smoke.

"You wanna dive off the deep end?" He cocked his head in the direction of the crowd below.

She fired off the grapple hook, and headed down towards the rioting crowd.

It was truly chaos, some people were even trying to jack TVs and other items from each other. The police had arrived but there was just too many people in the one little street. Hunter was a bit wary when it came to having police around, somewhat because this whole job wasn't exactly legal, and also because of his upbringing. He wasn't sure if they were okay with the idea that they were basically taking the law into their own hands. But they probably needed the extra hand right now anyway.
"Hey! Everyone, I got an announcement to make!" He yelled in such an authoritative voice that several people actually heard him above the roar and turned around. "GO HOME!" He swung his crossbow around like he was going to shoot at them and they ran for it, not bothering to try and even figure who he actually was.

Which meant that there was something worth stealing in there.
"Hey, you wanna check this out?" Hunter motioned his head towards the dark store and snuck closer to it, crossbow at the ready.

"Right beside you," note how she said beside instead of behind. As if they were a team, instead of one leading the other.
Spoiler pulled out a bat-a-rang in one hand, sneaking closer to the dark building.

The crossbow was held straight in front of him rigidly, he almost was afraid that if some guy jumped through the fading smoke and mist from the leftover gas he would accidentally shoot them, he was so tense.
"Y'think they're armed?" he whispered as croutched lower as he got near the broken glass door. There was broken glass everywhere, the window displays were all broken and knocked about. "There's prolly a safe or somethin' in the back where they are."

She noticed how tense Hunter was, "just listen to your gut, it won't let you down."
